Jellyfish Illustration
My Process
1. I came up with an idea to do a simple under water scene to practice my lighting and color skills
2. I quickly sketched a rough design of the layout I was going for. I wanted this image to be as organic as possible so I tried not to spend to much time in the concept phase
3. I laid down basic shapes and colors to start creating the mood of the piece. I started by making one jellyfish for reference when making the others later.
4. I began the rendering process adding tiny tendrils and shading to my jellyfish and the water's surface.
5. Lastly, I finished my illustration with tiny pinpricks of light and a subtle glow to the jellyfish to give a magical aura.
